The Château has been extensively renovated in 2019. The aim was to bring back its original beauty thus the entire property has been designed with a love of details to keep it in the famous Directoire style – also famous from Josephine de Bonaparte who made it famous during her reign as an imperatrice rose of France.
One of the most outstanding rooms is the dining room – inspired by Josephine’s origins – île Martinique – the walls are portraying a landscape full of birds and plants, transporting the viewers directly the a different place and era.
