Commune de Montcuq, France
Bonjour!
We welcome you at Château les Estournels – an 18th century castle filled with elegance and history located in beautiful southern France.

History
The Château has been extensively renovated in 2019. The aim was to bring back its original beauty thus the entire property has been designed with a love of details to keep it in the famous Directoire style – also famous from Josephine de Bonaparte who made it famous during her reign as imperatrice rose of France.

Style
One of the most outstanding rooms is the dining room – inspired by Josephine’s origins – île Martinique – the walls are portraying a landscape full of birds and plants, transporting the viewers directly the a different place and era.

Location
Some of the local highlights include;
- Romantic Village markets in Montcuq, Lauzerte, Cahors, Prayssac and many more
- Wineries
- Proximity to Toulouse and Bordeaux
- Close to touristic hotspots such Rocamadour, Carcassone, Grottes du Pech Merle and the Gouffre de Padirac
